Just a quick message to say all is well with me, despite what some of you may now be seeing in the news about political upheaval in Dhaka. The street violence is mostly happening in other areas of the city, not where I live and work, so I’m in not in any danger.VSO, my volunteer sending organization, is keeping us fairly well fed with information and safety precautions. The gist of the message: don’t be heading out to join the political protests! From what I’m reading in the news it sounds like a proper battlefield out there! We are laying low.
