At the moment, though I’m honestly thinking that the miniscule scale of our response against the disaster became extraordinarily clear when I was told that our relief package would only supply enough food for two to three days in a regular-sized family.

Better than nothing, yes. I have no doubt that many would agree that we in Bangladesh need to move from a culture of relief to that of prevention. Easier said than done..
